About Dr. XU
Dr. Tian-ze Xu is a physician-scientist specializing in myopia research and clinical ophthalmology. He currently serves as a Resident Physician in the Department of Ophthalmology at Beijing Tongren Hospital, one of China's leading eye care centers, while pursuing a PhD at Capital Medical University under the supervision of internationally recognized retinal genetics expert Prof. Zibing Jin. His work focuses on understanding the mechanisms of high myopia and developing innovative diagnostic and treatment approaches that combine clinical ophthalmology, artificial intelligence, and translational research.
