Dr. Curtis A. Ono is a nationally recognized optometric leader, clinician, and advocate dedicated to expanding access to high-quality vision care. He serves as Vice President of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and is co-owner of Puget Sound Eye Care in Seattle and Bellevue, Washington.
A graduate of Indiana University, Dr. Ono has built his career around comprehensive eye care, ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, and public health outreach. Throughout his professional journey, he has remained committed to serving patients of all ages while advancing the profession through leadership, education, advocacy, and volunteer service.
Dr. Ono has long championed programs that improve access to vision care for underserved populations. He founded the Minnesota Vision Project and continues to volunteer with organizations including InfantSEE, Vision USA, and the Millionair Club Charity Eye Clinic, helping provide eye care services to infants, uninsured patients, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
His work reflects a strong belief that quality vision care should be accessible to everyone regardless of age, income, or background.
